A Mid-Week Snack

Just wanted to post a few pictures for you to look at/drool over of some of our orders from the last couple days.

And a basic box from our CSB program! This month’s cupcake flavor was our specialty coconut with ganache.

Some delicious cinnamon coffee cake muffins– we never post photos of these sweet little guys, and I think it’s about time.

Cook with Hella Vegan Eats!

I am enamored with Hella Vegan Eats! Tiffany and Sylvee, the two ladies behind HVE, are always impressing me with their culinary prowess and their charm.

Fat Bottom Bakery has gotten the chance to team up with Hella Vegan Eats for events around Oakland and we always have an amazing time. Getting to hang out with these rad folks AND eat their amazing food is pretty incredible! Their passion for good food is evident in the dishes themselves, whether its tamales, coconut ice cream, or one of their many other offerings. HVE always serves up tasty vegan food that showcases the quality ingredients and delicious veggies.

HVE is hosting a Nigerian and Latin cooking class on March 21. 2012 in collaboration with La Cocina and Chiefo Chukwudebe of Chiefo’s Kitchen. Here’s what Tiff and Sylvee have to say about what their upcoming class is all about:

Because vegetables are delicious. For serious. In this class we’ll make vegan food because it tastes good, not just because it’s vegan. Think plantain and cabbage dishes from Nigeria and Latin American inspired dishes like Bell Pepper Ice Cream and platanos from Oakland’s Hella Vegan Eats.

I am sure this class will be amazing and you better believe they have a thing or two to teach about cooking!
