Tea Here Now brining tea and treats to downtown Oakland!

We are SO excited to be working with the brand new tea shop, Tea Here Now in Oakland! They just opened last week for limited hours, and are now open daily from 7:30am to 3:30 pm! In addition to scores of wonderful, high-quality teas, they are also serving a variety of Fat Bottom Bakery scones and cookies! Including our new shortbread cookies, only available at Tea Here Now. Who could resist a little ‘butter’ cookie with their cup of tea?

From their website:

It’s no secret that life is busy and moves fast. Tea Here Now was born of a craving for a slower pace, warm space, and respite for reflection as a part of our daily routine. Savored sips, noticed nibbles, and cultivated community are what Tea Here Now is all about. We hope you join us to share a cup of tea, small meal, and a mindful moment.

If you go in for a cup of tea and, AHEM, maybe a pastry or five, you’ll be greeted by lovely proprietor and tea expert Andrea, who you can be sure will guide you to the perfect cup to brighten your day.

So go check it out sometime this week, Oaklanders– we promise you’ll love it!

Tea Here Now is located at 1721 1/2 Webster Street, at 17th Street.

Oh yeah, “like” them on Facebook while you’re at it, too! Andrea’s been known to offer some sweet deals, including the occasional free FBB cookie.

  1. I LOVE scones and have rarely had them in the 5 years that I’ve been vegan (only when I make them, which is like never), so basically I’m stupidly excited about being able to purchase one (or five) of these babies!! Thank you for existing 🙂
